Out of an abundance of caution for the times to stop eating and/or drinking (Imsaak) and morning prayers, it has been recommended to stop eating and/or drinking at the same time as the Azan for morning prayers and to start the prayers about 13-14 minutes after that.

For nights when the sky does not become completely dark, the morning Azan has been calculated to be about 30 minutes after astronomical mid-night (after consulting the Calendar Center of the Institute of Geophysics of the University of Tehran).
