Calgary Towhid Centre is a not-for-profit, non-political institution founded by the collective efforts of some of the Iranians living in Calgary over several years.
This centre was first registered on June 1st, 2016, as a non-profit institution in Calgary, according to the laws of the Province of Alberta and was later registered as an official Canadian charitable institution in August 2016.
This centre strives to utilize the full potential of the religious, social and cultural groups and activists to create a desirable environment for gathering and interaction of Farsi speakers in the City of Calgary and help to bring together the Iranian and Farsi speaking community of Calgary.
