As a religious charity registered with the CRA, Calgary Towhid Centre has a humane and religious obligation to help the poor and those in need. However, most activities by the Centre are limited to those outlined in the organization’s primary objectives and verified by the CRA, which include religious and educational activities. Accordingly, most public activities by the center revolve around promoting the activities of other charitable organizations.
